Maasai Mara
Into the open
Four unhurried days in the Mara, with time to watch the light change across the plains.
The great plains. Wide grasslands, acacia shade and some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. Leave time for slow game drives and a long look across the plains.
The Mara is the Kenya most people picture before they arrive: grass to the horizon, a lone acacia, and something large moving through it. From July to October the migration crosses in from the Serengeti and the plains get busy. Outside those months the Mara is quieter, greener and still full of resident wildlife.
We plan Mara days around the light. Early drives for the cats, a long lunch at camp, then back out when the heat drops. If you want to see a river crossing, tell us early. It takes patience and a little luck, and we’ll position you for both.

Maasai Mara & Diani Coast
A classic change of scene. Game drives on the open plains, then slower days on the coast.
